About Us
Meet Tyler
As a junior in high school, I was diagnosed with a genetic heart condition known as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy after collapsing during a varsity basketball practice. That diagnosis ended my dream of playing Division I basketball and permanently consigned me to the sidelines. But, in a beautiful way, I was unaware at the time that my misfortune would ultimately serve as a catalyst–one that has continually fueled my passion for influencing, educating, and caring for underserved populations. Navigating that experience illuminated for me the complex challenges associated with experiencing a life-changing event. During my own journey through so many MRIs, echocardiograms, exercise stress tests, and electrocardiograms, I was able to see the degree of pressure and fear people face as they watch their lives unexpectedly transform in real time. And as I continued to mature, I began my lifelong quest to rediscover my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health and unlock the untapped potential required to improve the well-being of others.
Mission Statement
Exercise is not a one-size-fits-all process. My mission is to cultivate an exercise regimen that genuinely characterizes a specifically tailored avenue toward greater physical health for that particular individual. This is successfully achieved by educating people on proper biomechanics, precise alignment, and spatial positioning as well as physical posture orientation when performing specific movement patterns. Each program is designed to meet your individual goals in the most efficient way possible while maintaining sustainable physical practices that align with each individual’s time availability and access to equipment. Sprinkling in customized, well-informed nutrition philosophies delivers a plan that will fortify your health, regardless of your age. With an enthusiastic focus on strength and resistance training, the Symmetrical Strength Society also values the significance of constructing a plan that is well-rounded. We emphasize workout routines dedicated not only to weight training, but also to cardiovascular conditioning, mobility and encouraging full range of motion, flexibility, endurance, and balance.
